Flight

Reno/Tahoe International Airport

Reno is the closest airport and is about one hour away from our wedding location. Other airports nearby include Sacramento International Airport which is about two hours away and Oakland/SFO airports which are about 3.5 hours away. We would recommend flying on Thursday or Friday in order to make the most of your Tahoe weekend and to hopefully join us in our fun Friday festivities as well.

Beach Retreat & Lodge at Tahoe

This is where our ceremony and reception will be held. This is one of the oldest lodges in Tahoe and we like to think it has an old-school Tahoe charm (aka it's not the Hyatt.) It has a private beach where you can rent kayaks and paddleboards and it's very own Tiki bar. There is a two night minimum stay. (Room Code below) There are a ton of other hotel options nearby including Harrah's Lake Tahoe, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the Lodge at Edgewood, Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel as well as many others. There's also Air Bnb and Vrbo options available.

Transportation

We would recommend getting a rental car if you are traveling. You can also book the South Tahoe Airporter shuttle from the Reno/Tahoe airport that goes to certain hotels in South Lake including Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the Lodge at Edgewood Hotel, Harvey's Lake Tahoe & Casino, Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel, etc. Uber/Lyft are also available from the airport but there could be limited options. Parking: If you are staying at the Beach Retreat and Lodge you can park in one of their designated spaces. If you are staying at another location or driving in for the day, you can park across the street at the Safeway in the back of their parking lot (nearest to the Beach Retreat and Lodge) on Saturday. There's also Uber/Lyft options.
