Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

July 1st, 2026 If you are unable to join us for our wedding, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible. Our guest list is limited, and we would love to extend the invitation to other family and friends who were unable to join us. Question

When should I arrive to Italy?

Answer

We recommend flying into Italy by the morning of June 14th, 2027 (Monday) at the latest. We will be hosting several events at the venue beginning with the welcome dinner on Monday, June 14th night, and we hope to celebrate with everyone then.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest and easiest airport is Florence (FLR), located approximately 30 minutes from the venue. Another great option is Pisa (PSA), which is about 1.5 hours from the venue. Trains run frequently between Pisa and Florence, making it easy to connect between the two cities.

Question

What city is the venue in?

Answer

Villa La Palagina is located near the town of Figline Valdarno, which is in the Metropolitan City of Florence in Tuscany, Italy. So while it’s not inside a major city, the closest town is Figline Valdarno, and the villa sits in the countryside outside of Florence.

Question

What is the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

We highly recommend taking a taxi, setting up car service, or renting a car as Tuscany is best explored by car and the venue is located in the countryside. Detailed driving directions will be provided closer to the wedding.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have exclusivity of the venue from June 14th through June 17th. Accommodations are available for all guests at the venue during these dates. We are happy to contribute a portion toward your stay; guests will be responsible for the remaining balance. Booking will be available through the venue’s website, with more details coming soon. Due to limited accommodations at the venue, we will be assigning rooms for each guest. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure everyone has a comfortable stay. Please plan to stay at the venue, as there are very few alternative accommodations nearby.

Question

How many nights should I plan to stay?

Answer

The wedding week includes 3 nights (June 14-17). We encourage guests to stay for the full duration to enjoy all planned events.

Question

How much will the accommodations cost for guests?

Answer

We are happy to contribute a portion toward your stay; guests will be responsible for the remaining balance. The remaining balance of the accommodations are estimated to be $300-$400 per person for the full 3-night stay, which includes most meals provided, exclusive use of the villa, and housekeeping services.

Question

How do I pay for my accommodations?

Answer

Room assignments will be made after all guests RSVP. From there, the final accommodation prices will be determined base on room assignments. Once rooms are assigned, guests will be notified and able to pay for their accommodations online through Villa La Palagina's website.

Question

Can I check in early on arrival day?

Answer

Check in will not begin until 3pm. Early arrival allows the use of the venues services: luggage storage, swimming pools, access to bar and restuarant

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love all of our family and friends, we kindly request an adults-only celebration for the entire three-day wedding week. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to dance the night away with you!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are regrettably at capacity with our venue, which means we can only accommodate those guests explicitly invited by name on the invitation.

Question

When am I able to use the pool?

Answer

Guests are welcome to use the pool between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM. For safety and policy reasons, access outside of these hours is not permitted and may result in a fine. Also kindly note that the use of the glass (glasses, plates, etc.) is not permitted in the pool area.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding ceremony and reception is black-tie optional. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie or a tuxedo, while ladies can opt for an evening gown, midi length dress, or dressy pantsuit. Ladies, we recommend avoiding any stiletto heels. The venue's grounds are mainly made up of grass, gravel, and cobblestone pavement, so we suggest wearing a block heel. Please see our schedule tab for dress codes for events outside of the wedding ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please be seated for the ceremony by 5pm on June 15th.

Question

Is it okay to take photos during the wedding ceremony with our phones?

Answer

We will kindly ask that you turn off your phone and keep it in your bag or pocket during the wedding ceremony. We look forward to sharing professional photographs when they are ready. We would love for you to take photos and videos throughout all of the other events, and encourage you to share them with us!

Question

Does the venue provide ironing or steaming services?

Answer

The venue provides a self-service station with irons and steamers for guests to use as needed.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Power outlets are different in Italy than they are in the U.S. You will need an adapter simply to charge your phone or other electronic devices. We like the Tessan Universal Adapter with 4 USB Ports, which can be purchased on Amazon. Please be aware that any U.S.-made blow dryer or hot tool may not work. Even with an adapter, the voltage is too strong for U.S.-made products and they will overheat and/or blow a fuse. You will need hair styling tools that match the voltage, or that are dual voltage. The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.

Question

Will dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Answer

Absolutely. Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

What is the weather like in Tuscany in June?

Answer

Tuscany in June is typically warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures around 75–85°F and cooler evenings 60-70°F . We suggest bringing a light layer for nighttime.

Question

What currency is used?

Answer

Italy uses the Euro (€). Credit cards are widely accepted, but having some cash is helpful.

Question

Will my phone work in Italy?

Answer

Check with your carrier about international plans. Wi-Fi will be available at the venue.
