Question

Can I still attend if I forgot to RSVP? Mia & Marvin won't mind, right?

Answer

Wrong. Unfortunately, because of our desire to ensure all guests are taken care of (and due to the rules of the venue) people who do not RSVP will not be allowed on the property. The staff and security will have an updated guest list. So, if your name isn't on the list, you cannot attend. PLEASE make sure you RSVP on time. We want you there to celebrate with us. :)

What if I forgot to RSVP for just my partner/plus one?

Answer

Again, please make sure you RSVP for both you and your spouse/partner/guest. If names aren't on the list, guests will not be allowed on the property. Venue rule.

Question

Are children allowed to come to the wedding? What if my babysitter cancels last minute?

Answer

It's probably safe to say that nobody loves kids more than me and Marvin (especially me). However, our wedding is adults-only (minus the kiddos in the wedding party). Make it a date night and hire a babysitter. If you are traveling out of town and have children, please arrange for care. We will not have anyone at the venue to watch children, nor is there a space to do so. Thank you for being flexible/understanding.

Do I/we have to stay at one of the hotels you reserved for guests?

Answer

We know some guests will make an extended trip or vacation for our wedding, so feel free to stay in Atlanta or where ever your heart desires. Just keep in mind we cannot assist with transportation if you do not stay at one of the hotels listed on the website.

Will transportation be provided to-and-from the hotels the day of the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided. Please check the "Travel" tab a month before the wedding for the most accurate information on shuttle times, seat reservations, etc. You can also talk to the front desk host at your hotel, once you arrive, for information as well. Because there will be drinking at the reception, please plan to take the shuttle or arrange for a DD if you aren't staying at a hotel! Safety first :)

Will transportation be provided from the Atlanta airport to one of the hotels?

Answer

Transportation will only be provided to-and-from the wedding venue on April 6. If you desire hotel transportation to-and-from the airport, in the form of a shuttle, please arrange for this on your own ahead of time. Taking a Lyft is always recommended!

What time does the ceremony begin?

Answer

7:00 p.m. sharp - late quests will not be seated.

What time does the cocktail hour begin?

Answer

7:30p.m.-8:30p.m. - eat and drink while the bride/groom, wedding party, and families take photos.

Are there any wedding festivities going on the night before the wedding?

Answer

On Thursday, the night before the wedding, there will be no general group activities. Take this time to relax or explore the city.

What's there to do in...Tyrone, GA?!

Answer

There isn't a whole lot, but Tyrone/Peachtree City has nice shopping at The Avenue, cute restaurants, and plenty of walking/jogging trails. We also recommend driving to Senoia, GA - where "The Walking Dead" was filmed!

What if there is a last minute emergency and I am not able to attend?

Answer

Life happens - we will understand. If you can't let us know 30-days prior, no sweat, but please try if you foresee you might not be able to make it.

Where are you and Marvin registered?

Answer

You can find our registry right here on the website, under "Registry". There is an amalgamation of gifts from all over! You can also find some gifts under the Costco registry as well.

Is money appropriate in lieu of a physical gift?

Yes, money is always accepted. :)

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Because we're having an evening wedding, make it fancy! However, wear what makes you feel comfortable, beautiful, and is wedding appropriate.
