This will sound cliche or corny, but I knew I was going to marry Marvin when we met a few times. Technically our relationship should have ended at, "I went to the University of Florida," but I guess Marvin - the biggest FSU fan I know (next to his best man, Billy) - managed to overlook this minor detail. We officially became a couple in January of 2015. We had a fast and deep romantic connection; one that was shrouded in true love because Marvin agreed to move to Maryland when I got a job offer. We started anew - new state, new jobs, new home. He is my best friend, truly. For our two-year anniversary, we flew to Atlanta to celebrate in the city that gave us jobs, a home, and love. Little did I know that Marvin - as well as ALL of our family members and friends - had been planning a proposal and surprise engagement party. In one weekend I got a forever friend and husband-to-be, a little boxer pup named after one of the greatest men I will ever know, Harvey, and so much love/support from family and good friends.
