Wedding Ceremony

Summer Beach Wedding - Just Look Nice :) (also bring a coat/jacket)

The ceremony will be held on Tornby Strand, near Munchs Badehotel, at around 4:30pm. We are planning to serve light snacks and drinks at Munchs just before the beach ceremony. Guests should plan to walk a short distance on sand or grass, so comfortable footwear is recommended. For U.S. guests, the weather will be similar to Maine in June, so we also recommend a jacket or coat for the evening.

U.S. Celebration

Summer Wedding - Just Look Nice :)

Although we would love for all of you to join us in Denmark, we understand that is a long way to travel for our friends in the United States. Therefore, we've planned a "Blakstad + Baumgarten Family Celebration" closer to our home, near Rockville, MD. Everyone is invited to this second celebration: we are planning to have food, drinks, dancing, and lawn games! We are really excited to celebrate our love with all of you however you are able to attend! There will be a bus to/from the venue from the Cambria Hotel in Rockville. Beach Party

Beach Clothes + Swimwear

We have reserved Blue Fish pavilion at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis, MD, which is right on the Chesapeake Bay. There is a $5/person entry fee (which we will provide or reimburse), and please be sure to bring out printed event info (sent via email) in case the beachside parking fills up. We'll have burgers, hot dogs, beers, and friends! This event is NOT formal, but if you enjoy the beach and want to hangout, we'll have a good time!
