Things To Do

Hike the Dipsea Trail

Hike the Dipsea Trail

3337 Shoreline Hwy, Fairfax, CA 94930

The Dipsea Trail is easily the best hike we've done in the Bay Area and the trailhead is literally across the street from the wedding venue. It has everything: forests, waterfalls, ocean views, etc. There are trails for all skill levels, but the "Dipsea to Steep Ravine" trail is the best. Note that it is 7 miles roundtrip and rated "moderate", so plan accordingly.

Muir Woods National Monument

Muir Woods National Monument

1 Muir Woods Road, Mill Valley, CA 94941
, (415) 561-2850

If you're looking to see groves of redwoods, Muir Woods is the place to go in the Bay Area. It is about 40 minutes north of San Francisco and 20 minutes from the wedding venue. It does get busy, and you'll need to reserve a parking pass in advance, but it is gorgeous and we highly recommend checking it out. You can do the main trail loop which takes less than an hour and is easy to maneuver, or you can spend an entire day here exploring the expansive trails. Note that it is handicap and stroller accessible on some trails!

Stinson Beach Surf & Kayak

Stinson Beach Surf & Kayak

3605 California 1, Stinson Beach, CA 94970
, (415) 868-2739

Get your California surfer vibe on this weekend! Stinson Beach is known for it's great surfing, and this shop provides all your gear as well as lessons.

Parkside Cafe

Parkside Cafe

43 Arenal Avenue, Stinson Beach, CA 94970
, (415) 868-1272

Amazing Stinson Beach restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, right next to the wedding venue! We've had their delicious brunch with fresh mimosas. A stop by the Snack Bar will fill you up before your trip to the beach.

The Siren Canteen

The Siren Canteen

Stinson Beach, CA 94970
, (415) 868-1777

The Siren Canteen is few minute walk from the venue! It offers a quick bite, adult libations, and amazing ocean views. Perfect place to replenish after a long hike or day at the beach.

Sand Dollar Restaurant

Sand Dollar Restaurant

3458 Shoreline Highway, Stinson Beach, CA 94970
, (415) 868-0434

If you love live music, outdoor seating, and seafood, this is the place to go! The Sand Dollar is a quick walk from the venue, and also where we'll be hanging out after-hours on Friday and Saturday.

Point Reyes National Seashore

Point Reyes National Seashore

1 Point Reyes-Petaluma Road, Inverness, CA 94937
, (415) 464-5137

This is where we got engaged! Point Reyes National Seashore is just north of Stinson Beach. If you had an entire month you couldn't see everything it has to offer, it has countless hiking trails and endless natural beauty.

Wine Country

Wine Country

1119 State Ln, Yountville, CA 94599

Two hours north of San Francisco, and 90 minutes north of Stinson Beach, it goes without saying that spending at least a day in wine country is worth the trek. Our favorite winery is Goosecross, a smaller winery off the beaten path.

Nob Hill Cafe

Nob Hill Cafe

1152 Taylor Street, San Francisco, CA 94108
, (415) 776-6500

This is our go-to local Italian spot in our neighborhood of Nob Hill. They have great food and even better service. They do not take reservations, but wait times are usually around 20-40 minutes. There is a $20 corkage fee, so check out the convenient store next door and grab a bottle or two of wine if you want some 'off menu' libations.

Haight-Ashbury

Haight-Ashbury

San Francisco, CA 94117

If you're looking for remnants of hippie counterculture, Haight-Ashbury is the place to go. Beautiful victorian homes, cool shops, and plenty of peace and love. Amoeba Music is a classic record shop, Sparrow for lunch (check out the back patio), and Golden Gate Park is just down the road.
