FAQs

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

First time staying at a cabin the woods? So happy it's with us! We recommend brining comfy clothes to lounge in around the facilities. Swim suit for the lake. Anything you'd need for hiking if you decide to during the down time. Sunscreen, hat, bug spray, layers for the evening, headlamp/flashlight. Food/Drinks: we recommend bringing groceries and coffee to make in your abode for Saturday/Sunday breakfast and lunch. If you would like to go out, please go to "Things To Do" page for some local eats!

Question

Staying for the weekend, what about food?

Answer

We will have the BBQ firing Friday night for a welcome BBQ Potluck. Please bring some sides, meat/veg for grilling, or anything to share - not mandatory. Saturday dinner will be provided. All other meals are not provided. You are welcome to bring food to cook at your campsite, cottage, chalet, or townhome. Cooking not your thing? Please see "Things To Do" for some nearby local eats! (We advise taking a look and writing it down beforehand as WiFi and cell service may be limited.)

Question

What’s the camping situation ?

Answer

You can set up tents and camp in the areas drawn on the map on the google sheet listed below (these are wooded areas). If you’re car camping, please be aware it will just be in the parking lot near the playground close to other cars. I.e. you won’t have much space. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11EyiH0GeL4hcLWk9UQf84QMtbQX0r8wjOLbrQ47-WeU/edit?usp=drivesdk
