Wedding Party

Lauren Mishurda

Matron of Honor

Carly's older sister, or Baddass Business Barbie, as Carly affectionately refers to her. Lauren always served as a role model to Carly growing up and helped shape who Carly is today, (for better or worse, am I right?). Who better to have by her side on one of the most important days of her life?!

Steven Bonello

Best Man

Steve and Alex go back to middle school at St. Joseph’s, Placentia. Though they hated each other at first, they became good friends and helped each other through many fails, fouls, and the dopey challenges of life.

Megan Meyer

Bridesmaid

Megan may be Carly's sister by marriage, but she feels like she's been a sister for life. During the summer of 2020, Grant was about to jump off a high pillar on their uncle's dock into the Newport Bay and before Grant could make his launch Megan just nonchalantly yells "Sophie needs a faaatherrrr!" We were all cracking up so hard we almost fell in the water ourselves.

David Cummings

Groomsman

David and Alex grew up in the same neighborhood, playing soccer and baseball together. David is the most aggressively nice person Alex knows as well as the reason Alex once licked a shuffleboard table.

Kylie Harnen

Bridesmaid

After over 5 years of dating Carly's younger brother, Cole, Kylie has really become part of the family. Kylie and Carly famously entertain Sophie and Wyatt with their tag-team antics of impromptu coreographed dances and songs that only toddlers would understand the beauty of.

Tim Kellogg

Groomsman

Tim met Alex back in second grade at St. Joseph’s. He is always willing to offer some advice or fun facts, continually educating the group. Though he denies it, Tim has a great sense of humor and comedic timing. One of the few things Tim and Alex do not agree on is the definition of ‘oligopoly’.

Lauren Bunting

Bridesmaid

Lauren and Carly fatefully met as intramural referees early during their time at UC Berkeley and became fast friends. Their love of playing sports, joking around, having fun, and being straightforward helped them become best friends. Despite the growing physical distance between them, they have always been there for each other when it counts.

Isaac Gleason

Groomsman

Isaac and Alex met working on Wizard of Oz at Servite High School. Alex credits Isaac for helping him develop a work ethic and healthy love for shenanigans. Alex once lit Isaac on fire, so they are obviously very close friends.

Brea Staples

Bridesmaid

When Brea and Carly first met in San Francisco, they discovered that they both like to run (literally run) from bar to bar because of the energy they get from a night out with friends. Some of Carly's best weekend memories include early morning, long runs with Brea and Nike Run Club followed by brunch in the Marina and a full day of San Francisco shenanigans together.

Matt Sacendoncillo

Groomsman

Matt was the last to join the St. Joseph’s group in seventh grade. Widely regarded as the most responsible one, Matt still cracks jokes with the best of them including his legendary toast at Steve’s wedding.

Lea Williams

Bridesmaid

Lea and Carly met in San Francisco back in 2014 through mutual friends and have remained close ever since. Through big trips with friends, birthday celebrations, and being in nearly identical relationships (Alex and Luke will deny this), these two never lose sight of their friendship.

Reuben Mathews

Groomsman

Reuben and Alex became friends when Reuben transferred to St. Joseph’s in fifth grade. Reuben is the wild card of the group, with a great attitude and always up for anything (as long as he is not in India).

Danielle Blank

Bridesmaid

Carly met Dani shortly after graduating from Berkeley in the summer of 2013, despite them both having attended the school and been in sororities there (and known a LOT of the same people!). They were the first of their San Francisco friend group to move away from SF, Dani to New York and Carly back down to SoCal, but that experience has only made them closer.

Zach Zeidman

Groomsman

Captain Zach is the best roommate Alex ever had. Zach and Alex lived together for most of his time in Monterey sharing laughs, brunches, and a large collection of games. Alex learned the hard way never to bet anything he cared about in a game of chance against Zach.

Kim Femenias

Bridesmaid

One night in 2019, Carly's Costa Mesa roommate at the time came home with his girlfriend from a night out and exclaimed "Carly! We met this girl, and we think you'd love her!" Well they were right. A few weeks later that roommate and his girlfriend invited Kim out to a bar they were going to with Carly (a blind date for friends?!) and the two hit it off. What solidified the friendship? An impromptu karaoke night for the books.

Jimmy Fay

Groomsman

Jimmy and Alex shared a fondness for sleeping through class at Servite. When not napping, Jimmy is a brilliant scientist and true gentleman. Jimmy and Alex have stayed in touch through many phone calls of questionable inebriation over the years.

Grant Meyer

Groommaid

Grant's height wasn't the only reason Carly looked up to him growing up. Carly notoriously thought Grant was the funniest person in the world as children, so much so that their parents said he should take her on tour with him if he ever decides to become a standup comedian. Instead, he uses his comedy skills (read dad jokes) in his medical practice and is shocked when not every child finds him as hilarious as Carly did.

Florencia DiSarli

Groomswoman

Flo and Alex went to high school together before going to the same college. She has been a brilliant and honest sounding board for Alex in many life decisions. Flo helped console Alex when he found out he was a Gryffindor, not a Hufflepuff like he always thought, something Flo apparently knew all along as a Ravenclaw.

Cole Meyer

BrideBro

As Carly's younger brother, Cole endured a LOT of sisterly bullying from Carly at a young age, which arguably inspired him to workout until he looked like Superman and could defend himself against any potential attacker (mostly Carly). Or maybe he's just a huge DC Comics nerd.

Chessie Carpello

Groomswoman

Chessie performed onstage while Alex worked backstage on their high school theater productions. They became fast friends and have stayed close ever since. Despite Chessie’s best efforts as a Napa wine professional, Alex still knows next to nothing about wine.

Keala Moa

Officiant

Keala has been a great friend to both Carly and Alex, and was the obvious and immediate choice to be their Officiant. Keala and Alex met working backstage at La Mirada Theatre, where they were known for being the guys you should never let work together on a project. #TeamAnkles
