Our wedding week falls during what is usually peak or almost peak cherry blossom season! Located next to the Brooklyn Museum, you can make a day of it if you wanted to.
Prospect Park
Beautiful and huge park designed by the same architects as Central Park and Golden Gate Park in SF!
Central Park
Take the subway into the city and feel like you’re in a movie when you step into Central Park. Visit Strawberry Fields and the Dakota, check out the Natural History Museum, or follow it up with drinks at the Plaza and stroll down 5th Avenue.
New York Transit Museum
One of the coolest museums in New York! It includes the entire history of the nyc subway system and feature old train cars from decades past. Just look closely for the entrance or you may miss it.

Unsuspecting spot you won’t find on any best of lists, but has been a personal fav for over a decade. Best pancakes ever.
Runner & Stone
My Alma Mater and what used to serve as our crew’s Central Perk (iykyk). Tasty pastries, coffee, bread and lunch. We’ll be featuring their bread at our wedding.
al di là Trattoria
Iconic Italian neighborhood spot in Park Slope, and across the street from where Madison used to live. You’ll need a reservation.
The Long Island Bar
Tasty food and drinks near downtown Brooklyn hotels.
Lucali
You’ll probably never get in. No reservations. Might have to wait for hours. Might run into Taylor Swift or Beyoncé. The choice is yours. Never had the pizza but only hear epic things.
Hometown Bar-B-Que
In the iconic Red Hook neighborhood where we are getting married, rated as the best BBQ around. Can take a ferry to the city from this neighborhood. Great views of the Statue of Liberty. Not accessible by subway really, so take a cab or long walk if it’s nice out.
Strong Rope Brewery Red Hook
This would be a good spot to hit up before the wedding! Local brewery with amazing water views of the Statue of Liberty.
Canal Bar
We’ll most likely end up here after the wedding. Dive bar with a lot of memories for Madison and her BK crew.
The Stonewall Inn
Historical. Iconic. Gay AF. We love it here.
Park Slope
Great neighborhood in Brooklyn. Walk up and down 5th Avenue for food, drinks, and local shops.
Carroll Gardens
Amazing neighborhood with beautiful brownstones on quaint streets. Smith Street and Court Street are both lined with stores, restaurants, bars and cafes.
