Please visit the Travel & Lodging page for info and links on the hotel block and special rates. There are also several other hotels in the area and we'd be happy to give you tips.
Get your bearings with this Google map - it shows the Friday and Saturday locations, hotels, and parking options near the venue: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ev2S627mVZGTxoWC8
There will be a shuttle from the Drury hotel to the wedding venue, and back to the hotel at the end of the evening. Details and timing are forthcoming and will be available on the Travel page! FYI, the hotel and venue are very close to one another, a less than 10 minute walk or a very short Lyft ride, if shuttle timings do not work for any reason.
The venue does not have its own parking lot but there are several nearby - you can check out some options marked on this Google map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ev2S627mVZGTxoWC8 One thing to know, there is an NHL hockey game at 7:00pm on 11/4. Our event is starting earlier than that, and the venue is on the other side of town from the Xcel Energy center, but don't be surprised if downtown St. Paul is bustling! Make sure to leave time to find a spot.
Dress code suggestions are listed on the schedule page for both weekend events. However, these are just suggestions. Please wear whatever makes you comfortable!
There are two ways to RSVP. Snail mail: The paper invitations include an RSVP card and pre-addressed, stamped envelope for you to mail back to us. Online: See the top of this page/site menu for the RSVP page. Either way you choose, we thank you for submitting your RSVP by September 23!
In order to allow all guests, including parents, a night of relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding to be an adult only occasion. Please reach out if this would cause a significant barrier to your attendance. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
The invitations should make it clear whether you have a plus one by being addressed to your name "and guest." If you do not receive a plus one and there's someone special in your life we weren't aware of, please let us know!
Because we have our venue until after 11pm, and Annie will refuse to leave the dance floor until forcibly removed, it's likely the Metcalf/Lien wedding will be the latest bar in town! There is no official afterparty, but we trust our guests will find a way to keep having fun back at the hotel if they wish. We literally checked, all the nearby bars close before our venue does. :)
