Man of Honor
As brother of the bride, Dean has known Meredith for 30 years (since she was born!). From building snow forts and playing numerous games of pretend when they were little, to all of their family's traditions (tagging and cutting down Christmas trees, apple picking, annual vacations), Meredith and Dean have always remained close and have an inseparable bond. Although overprotective at times, Meredith appreciates Dean's "older brother" qualities and knows she can always go to him for advice, consoling, and celebrating. Meredith admires Dean's work ethic and his ability to be the life of the party. Meredith cannot envision her wedding day without Dean standing right by her side.
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Meredith met in pre-school and quickly became best friends. From attending each other's dance and gymnastics shows and competitions, family weekends at Lake Winnipesaukee, to Meredith being in Shannon's wedding, they have had some amazing memories. Meredith admires how much Shannon cares for her family and friends, knows that her cleaning skills are better than any hired cleaning company there is, and sees Shannon as one of the most talented dancers she has ever watched (did I say those dance competitions were amazing). Meredith is honored to have Shannon as a bridesmaid in her wedding.
Bridesmaid
Meredith and Lisa met in pre-school and have remained best friends since then. Meredith and Lisa have made many amazing memories going to her lake house at Lake Winnipesaukee, doing crafts and numerous sleepovers and nights out. Meredith admires Lisa's free spirited nature and her love for arts and crafts. Lisa never fails to go out of her way for her friends and family. Meredith always knows to call Lisa when she wants to have a good time and can't wait to have her by her side and getting the party going at the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Meredith and Alessandra met in kindergarten, have remained close friends and have become even closer since they both moved to Boston. Meredith and Alessandra have had some amazing times together, from sleepovers and birthday parties when they were younger to the Halloween, New Years and Superbowl parties that Alessandra has hosted. Meredith admires Alessandra's intelligence (she just received her PhD!) and her hospitality skills (she hosts the best parties!). Meredith knows that she can confide in Alessandra and can always go to her for honest advice. Meredith can't wait to have Alessandra by her side on the big day!
Best Man
As the older brother of the groom by 18 months, Donald has been a constant influence over Rich since they were both kids. Whether it was how to collect baseball cards, what 80s movies to watch or telling him what to do as an altar boy, Rich always looked up to Donald. Countless special memories were shared together over the years with summers by the pool, Patriots football games in the fall, winter snow days (some recognized by the school and some not), and spring days playing catch in the yard or watching the latest Star Wars movie. Rich admires his brother’s sharp wit, brutal honesty, and ability to hold down three jobs at once. Rich was honored to toast Donald and his wife Heidi back in 2009, and he is now excited to have his brother there to return the favor this December 2021.
Groomsman
Growing up in Bristol together, Richard Bairos and Rich knew each other in elementary school but didn’t become close friends until high school. While at Mt. Hope, they bonded over classes, female prospects, harassing teachers and taking days off. By Senior year Bairos and Bucolo were always together and laughing their way to drinks at the Tents, lunches at Luke's Inn, spring break Cancun trip and a yearbook designation as best buddies. From there, Bairos and Bucolo continued to stay close and partied together in Boston, NYC, Vegas, London, Dublin, and more recently in beautiful Long Island! Bairos is a loyal friend who Bucolo felt privileged to stand alongside in 2012 when Bairos married Kerri and it was at that special ceremony when the whole Bristol Crew first met Meredith.
Groomsman
Going to Warren for the 7th grade was a big change for Rich who was not used to leaving his Bristol paradise, but this adjustment was made much easier by meeting Jon. Their friendship would continue through high school where Jon excelled in sports while continuing to stay true to the same kind and humble person he has always been. From there they enjoyed way too many consecutive nights of Bacardi & Diets at Goffs, being roommates on Cottage Street and sampling tons of cigars both in person and virtually. Rich was excited to stand by Jon’s side on his wedding day back in 2015 to Tricia (back in Bristol!) and feels fortunate that Meredith and he continue to get to enjoy Chapman family sleepovers with the twins!
Groomsman
Listening to someone complain for a 9.5hr work day would make most people go crazy but Eric’s ability to absorb Rich’s never ending commentary in the summer of 2006 resulted in amazing friendship. Thoughtful and caring, Eric always encourages those around him to do great things while being genuinely happy for their success. From buying investment homes to leaving RI for work opportunities, Eric always pushes himself to do more while serving as a great inspiration for Rich. From their time living together in Medford, to California visits, to the daily calls/texts about tenants, work or sports, Rich can always count on Eric to offer advice and support. Rich was grateful to be part of Eric and Tina’s big day in 2017 and can't wait to party with them in December!
