Kate and I share so many hilarious and wild memories. I got so blessed to be able to have an extra sister. It was no question that I would have TWO Maids of Honor. The two best sisters in the world will have no problem supporting me on my big day. Kate has been there for me since I was 12 years old, and she has to be by my side for my wedding day. I'm so happy to have her be a part of this!

Kevin is my person. He's the one I can lean on, vent to, laugh with, and cry with. We get each other. We have been through SO MUCH in our seven years of friendship. When I asked him to be a bridesman, rather than a groomsman, I was a little nervous about what he would say. I should have predicted that he wouldn't hesitate for a second. Kevin is the kind of guy I can count on for anything and I am stoked to have him on my side on my wedding day.

Kayla is my cousin and one of my very first best friends. She was five when I was born, and I've always been able to look up to her. She is an amazing mom to her kids, a strong woman of faith, and an incredible woman all around. I admire her in so many ways. She is such an inspiration to me and I'm so happy that she'll be standing with me on my wedding day!

This is a friendship that God threw into my lap at the most perfect time. When she started dating one of my best friends, we clicked instantly. And now, we're BOTH getting married and we're roommates! Kari is someone I can always count on and can always trust. She has been there through my engagement, all the craziness of wedding planning, she's given me so much advice and lifted me up in prayer so many times. I am so blessed to call her a friend and have her with me on my special day.

Janelle is someone so very near and dear to my heart. She is one of the reasons Josh and I met in the first place, when we were doing productions of Picture of Jesus at Bear Creek Community Church. Janelle is a once-in-a-lifetime friend. She has always been there to listen. She covers me in prayer daily and is such a strong woman of faith. I look up to her like a big sister. She's the kind of friend who is always thinking about others, looking for gifts for other people when it's not even their birthday! I am so blessed to call her a friend and a bridesmaid!

Alice is one of Josh's oldest friends, and when he and I started dating, she welcomed me with open arms! She is such a welcoming, thoughtful, and kind person and I'm so happy that Josh and I have someone so amazing to call a friend! She has been there for Josh through some crazy times and helped him out a lot. I'm so excited to have her be a part of our special day!

Best Man

This man is one of my longest-standing friends, and it’s truly amazing to think of how much we have impacted each other’s lives in the past 15 years. In so many ways, Jesse is a brother to me, and there is absolutely no way on this earth that I could have an occasion such as this and not have him at my side, especially since I had the honor of also being at his side. I am privileged to have two Best Men, and the fact that Jesse is one of them is a honor beyond words.

Caleb Kirwin

As the sibling that, chronologically speaking, was “next in line” after me, out of all the amazing people we have standing with us, Caleb is the one I’ve known the longest. Some of my absolute favorite memories involve this man’s wacko sense of humor, that, truthfully and thankfully, has only grown more outlandish with time. Speaking as someone who is fortunate enough to have more than one Best Man, I am honored to have Caleb be there with me, just as I was able to be there for him as well.

From his ironclad will and bravery to his dead-on impersonations of the likes of Christopher Lee and Alan Alda, Joey is an absolute blessing to this world. Whether he’s got you in deep, meaningful conversation or in uproarious laughter, to have my brother in your life is a treasure, and that is why I am pleased to have him standing with me.

Despite being my youngest brother, Daniel has been there for me more times than I can even say. His kind, generous nature is truly an inspiration, and there’s honestly no telling where I’d be if not for his presence in my life. My cousin is one of the most compassionate people I have ever known, and with it, he is a wonderful aspect of the family dynamic. My aunt and uncle are some of the proudest parents in the world, and if you know Logan, then you know that they have every reason to be. He’s not just my cousin; he’s a good man and a good friend.

Eric is one of the closest friends that I’ve made in one of the shortest amounts of time I’ve personally done so. I don’t think either of us could’ve imagined that, after having seen each other in separate theatrical productions over the years, we would become as close as we are, and roommates to boot. I’m grateful for the friendship, partnership, and brotherhood that he brings to the proverbial table time and time again.

This man is one of the few people I’ve met whose heart and capacity for love are as big as mine. Like, Abby and Kate, Nick welcomed me wholeheartedly into the family from the very beginning, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to express how much it’s meant to me over the years. It’s almost impossible to even try to imagine what my life would’ve been like without him in it. As it may go without saying, I’m very much looking forward to being this man’s brother-in-law.

I have known Sophie since her mama found out she was pregnant with her! Sophie’s mama works with me, and watching her grow has been such a joy. She fits all the requirements for flower girl! So stinkin’ cute!

Jebby was the pastor responsible for the production of Picture of Jesus; the production we were doing when Josh and I met. Jebby is an exemplary man of God, someone who we look up to on our walks of faith. When we thought about who would officiate our wedding, (even before we were engaged!) we always thought of Jebby. We are so honored to have this man play such an important role on our wedding day!
