If you do not feel safe attending our event or traveling at this time, we completely understand. Your comfort, health, and safety is the number one priority. If you cannot make it to our wedding for any reason, please join us on our livestream! Our livestream video will be posted on a private Face book group called “Josh and Megan’s Livestream Wedding!”. If you’re not already added, just search for the group name and someone will add you in. On the day of the wedding, just go into the group at 4:30PM and tune in to our ceremony. The most current and updated safety measures can be found here as well, on our homepage, or in our FAQ section! All tables will be appropriately distanced apart. There will be a designated seat for all guests, to ensure everyone is only sitting with family or those from the same household. There will be as little mixing as possible. Guests will sit at their respective tables during both the ceremony and reception. There will be temperature checks for every guest. Masks WILL be required for all guests over the age of 3, unless seated at tables while eating or drinkin. If you do not bring a mask, one will be provided for you. Please feel free to take the mask off while eating or drinking at your table, but you must wear a face covering at all other times. Masks must also be worn during the ceremony (approximately 10 minutes), as several people will be walking up and down the aisle past you. All staff and vendors will be wearing masks. Hand sanitizer will be available at every table. The number of guests on the dance floor will be limited. Masks will be required on the dance floor, however, it is still a moderate risk activity to dance in close proximity to groups of people, so please dance at your own risk. Venue is now outdoor. Any and all safety measures are subject to change at any time, due to the ever changing nature and restrictions of the pandemic.
Megan and Josh had known each other for quite some time from being in productions at church together, and there had always been a little chemistry there, but neither of them had ever acted on it. However, on Christmas Day in 2014, Josh sent Megan a text that simply said “Merry Christmas, Megan!” This one simple text led to days-long text conversations and multiple HOURS-long phone calls, and eventually, their first date, where they had their first kiss in front of a Christmas tree. Josh made it official on February 22, 2015 and they’ve been inseparable since!
Josh and Megan were planning to spend New Year’s Eve with friends, playing games. Unbeknownst to Megan, however, Josh arranged picking up the ring that very day, and while they were sitting around the table at their friends’ house that evening, Josh got down on one knee and popped the question, right in front of a Christmas tree. You could definitely say he ended the year with a bang!
