FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Please arrive for the ceremony at 9:45 am. You will not be able to enter earlier as the venue is closed to the public and the bride and groom will be using the space for pictures prior to the ceremony. Please be prompt as the ceremony will start shortly thereafter at 10:00 am.

Question

Do I have time to explore the botanical gardens after the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. There is allotted time at the venue after the ceremony for any exploring of the grounds and pictures you wish to take with family.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we are celebrating Valentine's Day and our love by asking that all guests wear reds, pinks, purples, or neutral colors. Please see the attire section for more details.

Question

Do I need to change before the reception?

Answer

You can wear the same outfit that you wore to the ceremony. The ceremony and reception are back to back.

Answer

Please reach out to Rachel or Josh regarding special requests.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

On Friday, the bride and groom will meet family at New York Beer Project in Orchard Park at 6:00 pm. We recommend wearing something casual. You will be responsible for your own tab. See the "schedule" section for more details. On Saturday and Sunday, you are welcome to stay in Buffalo to spend time with friends and family or do a fun activity, but there are no organized events with the bride and groom. See our "things to do" section for recommendations.
