I noticed that your reception venue, Detroit Yacht Club, is on Belle Isle State Park. Since it’s a state park, do I need to pay an entry fee?

Answer

No! When you cross the bridge and enter Belle Isle State Park, just tell the gate agent that you are attending a wedding at Detroit Yacht Club. They will let you continue driving to Detroit Yacht Club without paying.

Is there free parking at your reception venue, Detroit Yacht Club?

Answer

Yes, free valet service is available for all guests.

Question

Is there free parking at Greektown Casino Hotel?

Answer

The parking structure connected to Greektown Casino hotel does charge for parking - however hotel guests may have their parking ticket validated for free parking during their stay. Please be sure to keep your parking ticket and provide to the front desk for validation before check out.

Are kids welcome?

We respectfully request no children under 12 at our wedding ceremony and reception.

Are you providing any transportation for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have a complimentary shuttle to take guests from Greektown Hotel & Casino to our wedding reception at Detroit Yacht Club. The shuttle will leave the valet area just outside the Greektown Hotel & Casino lobby promptly at 4:30pm. The shuttle will make two trips from Detroit Yacht Club back to Greektown Hotel & Casino, at 10:00pm and 11:00pm.

Our dress code is cocktail attire.

What are the COVID-19 protocols?

Answer

The vast majority of our guests are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Please contact the bride or groom if you have any questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 protocols.
