This outdoor art exhibit is free to the public and is the perfect place to enjoy some fresh air while admiring the sculptures around you. Over its 11 acres, there are 40 different outdoor sculptures created by talented artists. Among the most popular are the Spoonbridge and Cherry and a giant blue rooster. These can both be seen from I-94 as you drive through the Twin Cities.
As lunchtime starts to sneak up on you, take the 30-minute drive over to the adorable Minnesota town of Stillwater on the St. Croix River. After grabbing lunch, walk along the river and cross into Wisconsin on the historic Stillwater Lift Bridge. This pedestrian-only bridge has become an icon in the small town.
Built in 1881, this bright connect Minneapolis and St. Paul, forming the Twin Cities. It was built to bring the Minneapolis Union Railroad over the Mississippi River, but today, it’s just a pedestrian bridge. It offers one of the best places to watch the sunset in the city. Admire the views of the Minneapolis and St. Paul skylines and watch the sun sink beyond the horizon.
Mall of America is a large shopping mall located in Bloomington, Minnesota. Located within the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area, the mall lies southeast of the junction of Interstate 494 and Minnesota State Highway 77, north of the Minnesota River, and across the Interstate from the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport. It opened in 1992, and is the largest mall in the United States, the largest in the Western Hemisphere, and the twelfth largest shopping mall in the world.
The waterfall is situated in Minnehaha Park, a beautiful green area along the Mississippi River a ten minutes drive from downtown Minneapolis
