FAQs

Question

When should you RSVP?

Answer

As soon as you know if you're available for our big day! By June 2nd at the latest. You can RSVP on the website.

Question

Will kids be attending?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided on a kids-free celebration. The only children attending are the bride and groom's nieces and nephews. Your invite will include your child's name if welcomed!

Question

Dress Code?

Answer

Welcome Party: Camp Casual - jeans, flannels, western attire, sun dresses, whatever you are comfortable in! Wedding: Cocktail/Semi-formal. No jeans please. Ladies, if you plan on wearing heels we recommend wedges or block heels as you will be walking on grass and gravel between the ceremony, dinner, and dancing.

Question

Weather?

Answer

Is always unpredictable in the mountains. We recommend bringing layers or a light jacket for evenings. The average temperature highs in August at 8,000ft in elevation is typically mid 70's and the lows at night can be mid 40's-50's.

Question

What will we be serving?

Answer

Welcome Party: Burgers/Brats. Wedding: BBQ! Please make us aware of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Where will guests be staying?

Answer

We have reserved all lodging on-site at Deer Creek Mountain Camp (A-frames, tiny homes, apartment-style units, and a large house), with space for up to ~120 guests. Everything is within about a 2–3 minute walk (roughly 200 yards) of the main buildings where the Welcome Party and Wedding will be held - so once you arrive, there’s no need to drive for the weekend (yay for togetherness!). When you RSVP, you will be asked whether you'd like to stay on site for the two nights. We truly hope you do - we chose this venue so we can spend as much time together as possible. A few important notes: Lodging Decision Deadline: Please let us know by June 2nd whether you’ll be staying on site or making other arrangements. This helps us finalize room assignments and plan for any overflow. Room Assignments: We’ll be assigning rooms/beds based on family units and friend groups. Some accommodations may be shared (rooms/beds and possibly bathrooms, depending on the unit). Cost: We’re covering lodging upfront, and guests who stay on-site will pay us back. We’ll share pricing and payment details once rooms are assigned. Staying on-site is the most cost effective option in the area/for the celebration. Transportation Note: If you choose to stay off-site, please plan ahead - Uber/Lyft options are extremely limited in Bailey, CO. After you RSVP “yes” to staying on site, we’ll reach out 1–2 months before the wedding with your lodging details and instructions for payment. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. There is a parking lot, and parking is available for some of the lodges. Please keep the main road from the Main Lodge up to the A-frame (Dining Hall) clear as we will be shuttling guests from dinner to dancing as needed.
