The happy couple's story is one of growth and serendipity, blossoming in the midst of a global pandemic. It all began when Nathan's sister, Sara, reconnected with Meredith and invited her over to join a family Easter Egg decorating Zoom call. Nathan was away, finishing his junior year at Virginia Tech and Meredith was in Harrisonburg completing her final semester of graduate school at James Madison University. It was on this call that they were introduced for the first time and the stage was set for what would become a beautiful relationship. The two first met in person when Nathan moved back to Harrisonburg for summer break, and a strong friendship naturally developed. Following pandemic restrictions, Nathan, Meredith, Sara, and their friend Joan formed a tight-knit social bubble, spending time together daily and finding happiness in each other's company. During this period, Nathan and Meredith shared many adventures, from playing tennis and ranking local car washes to engaging in deep discussions about the paleo diet and sociology. Their friendship flourished, and it wasn't long before they began to develop deeper feelings for each other. The summer excitement came to an end when Meredith moved to Virginia Beach to start her first post-graduate job and Nathan returned to Blacksburg to finish his last year of college. Despite the physical distance between them, Nathan was determined to make their relationship official. Needless to say, his persistence paid off. Beginning a relationship while living five hours apart came with its challenges, but it also brought immense growth. What seemed like a crazy idea during a wild time has evolved into a beautiful story of joy, dedication, and sincere love. The bride and groom look forward to taking the next step in their story together with all of you this October!
