Question

Can I Bring My Children?

Answer

If you have young children and you would like to bring them, this is absolutely okay with us! We love you and specifically picked a family-friendly All Inclusive Resort so that you had this as an option to consider in attending our wedding. Children are welcome to attend the welcome dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, but childcare through Velas Vallarta is available during the welcome dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception if you would prefer to schedule childcare. If you are interested in scheduling childcare, guests can schedule this directly with guest service: guestservicevv@velasresorts.com Childcare is $27 USD per hour, minimum 2 hours, maximum 2 kids per nanny. This must be booked at least 24 hours prior to the service.

Question

What If I Am Attending Without a Plus 1?

Answer

If you plan to attend but do not have a guest you will be bringing with you + would prefer to share the cost of a room with someone else, just let us know! We are happy to assist in connecting our friends/family in this situation.

Question

What If I Prefer to Stay Somewhere Else in Puerto Vallarta?

Answer

We would really love it if you stayed at Velas Vallarta with us so that we can vacation together. Should you decide to stay somewhere else, Velas Vallarta does has a resort fee policy for our guests attending who are not staying at the resort on the nights of our events. Guests not staying at Velas Vallarta on Thursday night (the night of the welcome dinner) will be charged approximately $150 USD per person for a resort pass to attend. Guests not staying at Velas Vallarta on Friday night (the night of the wedding) will be charged approximately $185 USD per person for a resort pass to attend. Each pass is valid for a single visit to the resort during the times reserved for our welcome dinner or wedding/reception. Any guests not staying at Velas Vallarta will need to reserve the guest passes in advance. There is a form to complete and the hotel will request payment with the completed form. Please be sure to let us know directly if this is your situation. We will then contact Velas Vallarta on your behalf to coordinate next steps.

Question

Do You Have Anything Planned on Saturday, November 8th?

Answer

While the dates of our wedding weekend with Velas Vallarta are Thursday, 11/6 - Sunday, 11/9, the only official events we have planned are the welcome dinner on Thursday, 11/6 and ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on Friday, 11/7. Please enjoy breakfast as it works best for your vacation schedule on Saturday, 11/8. We are planning to visit the Aqua Terrace Pool at Velas Vallarta beginning late morning or around noon on Saturday, 11/8. Guests do not have to RSVP for this and are welcome to enjoy the day however they prefer. We just wanted to share where you can find us the day after the wedding!
