This is where we would meet half way during our long distance summers in college. They are known for their stecca bread, local produce, and delicious fresh sandwiches! Meredith's go to order is the turkey pesto sandwich and Reese's is the BLT.
A lovely outdoor park with local restaurants and great outdoor walking trails. This park in the heart of Greenville is our favorite spot for picnics and time with friends! We would recommend the pizza and Valhalla beer from Pangaea or stop into The Commons for endless choices at their food hall.
The Swamp Rabbit Trail runs over 28 miles through the greater Greenville area. It is a wonderful paved walking and biking path that snakes straight through downtown Greenville, Unity Park, and right past Swamp Rabbit Cafe. Our favorite place to park is at the Cancer Survivors Park and you can take the trail into downtown from there!
Meredith's favorite coffee shop in Greenville! Located in the West Village Arts District, the vibes here are immaculate. They have great seasonal lattes, matchas, and local pastries. Meredith's go to order is a caramel latte and a kale cheddar scone.
If you know Meredith, you know she loves sushi. Though Reese is just starting to warm up to the idea of raw fish, Otto is one of their go-to date night spots. With a long list of high quality sushi options and equally delicious Asian cuisine for the non-sushi fans, this is always in their monthly restaurant rotation.
This hole-in-the-wall burger shop is one of Reese's favorite burgers in town! Plan to potentially have a picnic, because their small seating area often fills up quickly.
This old school speakeasy is one of Meredith and Reese's favorite spot for a unique cocktail. They have taken cocktail classes, gotten to know the bartenders, and have many great memories here. To get there, you will get dropped off near the Marble Slab, then walk around the building on the side closer to the Spinx Market. Once you get around the building you will see a door with iron bars and a small sign. Walk in, grab a seat, and enjoy a fun night! Pro tip: get there before 9pm to get a good seat.
