Our paths crossed during the very first week of college, just two freshmen living on the same hall, hoping to meet new friends. From spikeball partners to late-night movie marathons, we quickly became inseparable. What started with constant laughs and spontaneous hangouts turned into a friendship that felt like home and eventually so much more.

Our first date started with dinner, but the real surprise came after. Reese had remembered that Meredith loved stargazing, so he secretly searched for the perfect spot just outside our college town. He had to find somewhere dark enough to see the stars, but not too sketchy for a first date. We spent the night under the stars, talking for hours, and knew pretty quickly that this was something special.

We are now living in Greenville, SC where we are both pursuing our MDs at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. Reese is in his first year, learning the ins and outs of the medical field, how to take care of patients, and all the systems of the body. Meredith is in her second year, studying for her first board exam and preparing to enter her clinical years. Though we are in separate classes, we spend most of our days studying together, still having movie marathons, and spending time outside on the weekends.
