I made my reservation! What else do I need to do?

Answer

Please forward your hotel confirmation to our travel agent, Adrienne, at adrienne@magicmanaged.com once you are booked. Make sure you have a valid passport, book your flight, and fill out the passenger declaration form: https://enterjamaica.com (available up to 90 days before your flight). Also make sure you have your transfer scheduled from the airport to the resort. You can do this through the company: transfers.jamaica@seasonstours.com or through the couple's travel agent: adrienne@magicmanaged.com You are then set to go! See you there!

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

For the gentlemen, plan to wear a button down. Khakis or slacks are great. Ties and jackets are optional. Closed-toed shoes and long pants are required. Consider a breathable fabric, like linen, for comfort in the warm weather. For the ladies, a dress, formal romper, or jumpsuit all work for the occasion. Tea-length or maxi dresses are a great option. Dressy sandals, chunky heels, and wedges will be comfortable at all of the wedding celebration venues. None of the wedding venues are directly on sand. For the welcome party, men: shorts like khakis, and collared shorts will be great. Women: sundresses and dressy sandals or wedges will be great. Please save colors like white and ivory for the bride at both events :)

What should I pack?

- Passport and Boarding Passes - Sunglasses/hat - Warm weather clothing (shorts, T-shirts, dresses) - Swimwear - Beach Bag - Sunscreen - Welcome party outfit - Wedding outfit - Toiletries and hair/makeup products - Sandals - Chargers for Electronics (do not worry about plug adapters, Jamaica uses the same plugs as the US) - Tennis shoes and workout attire if you plan on using the gym, jogging, or yoga classes - Rain gear as there may be some quick afternoon rain showers - Men, pack long pants and collared shirts if you plan to eat at some of the nicer restaurants.

What does the Hotel supply?

In all rooms, the resort will provide: - a garment steamer - robe/slippers - umbrella - beach towels - hair dryer - shampoo, conditioner and soap - complimentary mini bar stocked daily with snacks, coffee, liquor, beer, juices, soft drinks and water - free wireless internet - 24 hour room service - All taxes and gratuity are included as well

What is the Weather like in Jamaica?

June in Jamaica is lovely but humid. Temperatures on the island range from 86 °F to 88 °F, paired with a slight chance of rain. The ocean temperature is around 82 °F and the wind is moderate. At night temperatures fall around 77 °F

Are there fun things to do in Jamaica?

Answer

Jamaica is a beautiful place but we highly encourage guests to stay at the resort during their stay. The wedding is located at an all inclusive resort with plenty to do.

Will I be able to use my phone while at the resort?

Answer

Jamaica is international travel, so if you do not purchase an international phone plan through your carrier, and you try to use it like normal while not at the resort, you may be charged a fee. Please keep in mind that there is free wifi throughout the resort that works well, so you likely do not need an international phone plan. Most phone carriers offer them for a small fee and you are only charged if you use it. It can be done through your account online.

Will I need to purchase anything while at the resort?

Answer

The resort is all inclusive. However: - If you choose to enjoy the spa, deep sea fishing, or scuba diving there will be an additional fee. - There is a gift shop at the resort with souvenirs available for purchase. - Gratuity is not required but is accepted and appreciated by bartenders. - Jamaica accepts USD, no need to convert money.

How do I make my reservation?

Please go to https://www.excellenceresorts.com/montego-bay/excellence-oyster-bay/ and make sure you are using the promo code: MNWNOV24XOB. Pick a room type that best matches what you are looking for. The 'Junior Suite Garden View' room allows for 3 guests. The rest of the rooms are for single guests, or two guests sharing a room. *** When booking, please do so online, or go through the couple's travel agent. You may be charged an international call fee if you try to call the resort. Please make sure you are using the promo code as that is how we can ensure you are included in all wedding festivities.

When should I book?

Answer

Our promo code is only available until 60 days prior to our wedding (April 26th, 2024). We do recommend booking as soon as you can as rooms do go quickly. When you make the reservation using our promo code, you will only be charged a $1 hold. You will not be charged the full amount until 30 days before the start of your stay. You can make changes up until that day.

How long should I stay at the resort?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to stay at least 3 nights. The couple will be staying from Wednesday June 26th, 2024 until Sunday June 30th, 2024
