Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

That is up to you! If you plan to do a lot of exploring, we do think that renting a car will be the most convenient way for you to get around. There are plenty of car rental options from the airport and we've provided a link in the Travel & Accommodations section for some of the best rates we've found during our personal travels. For others, a mix of rideshare options and walking will more than cover it during their time in New Orleans. Also, there's always the Streetcar!

Will there be a shuttle to and from the ceremony?

Answer

While there are no shuttle options now that the wedding festivities are taking place in New Orleans, we can assure you that everything is close by and easily accessible through rideshare, driving/car rental, and often times walking. Do not hesitate to reach out to us with any travel-related questions as you plan your trip!

Where do I find parking on the wedding day?

Answer

There will be plenty of on-site and off-site parking for the Ceremony and Reception. The Peristyle can be accessed by rideshare and, for those planning to drive, there is on-site parking in the lot adjacent to the venue. If the lot is full, you can find plenty of street parking just outside the Park. There is also plenty of free street parking near Margaret Place Hotel, but absolutely do take advantage of the city's rideshare options in order to get home safely at the end of the night.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would love to welcome as many people as possible to our special day, we're unfortunately unable to do so because of limits to space beyond our control. If your RSVP offers you the option to bring a guest, then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you. If you don’t see your spouse/partner/plus one/family member’s name on your RSVP form, search their name individually. Also, if you married and/or your name changed in the last year, try searching both surnames. We’ve done our best to update everyone’s information, and hopefully we haven’t missed anything!

Can I bring my child?

Answer

We absolutely do not want child care to be a barrier for those wanting to celebrate with us, so you are more than welcome to bring children if that makes things less complicated on your end. Just let us know ahead of time so we can make sure they're accounted for!
