We're getting married!

First Date: January 28, 2019 Thanks to modern technology we, like so many other couples these days, met online. Mere didn't expect to necessarily settle long term in the Bay Area after accepting a travel nurse contract, but soon after meeting Ivan over burgers (veggie version for Mere) and beers at a little bar in Emeryville, she knew she had to stick around to see what would happen. His first gift to her was pepper spray, by the way - in a gift bag, with a poem included. ;) Proposal: November 14, 2021 Ivan, Mere & Winston went on a short hike at Shell Ridge in their town of Walnut Creek. This was the pup's first ever hike. :) We made it to a nice little bench, just off the trail, and Ivan got down on one knee and proposed. I think you know what Mere's response was. :) Winston celebrated by finding all the good muddy spots to play in. And now here we are... so excited to have our family and friends all together in the same place while we exchange vows and dance the night away!
