Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Please arrive between 4:30-4:55 PM. The venue's doors will be closed at 4:55 PM to allow the wedding party to line up in the space near the entrance before the ceremony starts and won't be opened again until after the ceremony (around 5:30 PM).

What is the dress code?

Answer

Anywhere from dressy casual to semi-formal... You should feel free to dress up with us if you like, but we know everyone has different comfort levels when they party so do what feels right for you! For the guys, this includes anything from chinos with a button down to a suit (tie-optional). For the ladies, this includes anything from a skirt or slacks with a blouse to cocktail dresses. We are not asking guests wear certain colors, but if you'd like to know, our wedding colors are burgundy with accents of navy blue and gold.

Are children invited?

Answer

Children of all ages are welcome to the reception portion of the evening. However, in order to keep the 30 minute ceremony as special and stress free as possible, we ask that younger children arrive after the ceremony has concluded. We also ask that you follow your invitation to know whether or not any additional seating has been reserved for you at the ceremony.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Since we will be having the ceremony and reception at the same location, attendees will only have to park once! Our venue, the Quonset, has limited parking in the front of the building, which includes handicapped spaces and a wheelchair ramp. Additional free on-site parking is available on the east side of the building located on 179 South Main Street on both the south and north sides of the building. A connecting sidewalk runs the length of the building on the north side for easy access to the front door of the Quonset. There is also street parking on South Center Street in front of the building.

Will there be a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! The wedding party and family will take pictures during this time, so guests will stay at the Quonset. Light food and drinks will be served, and maybe a game or two will be played! We will also have additional instructions for guests during the "room flip" to create a reception space.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes, beer and wine (white and red) will be served.

What dietary restrictions will be accounted for?

Answer

Vegetarian, non-pork proteins, nut-free, gluten free

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All of the events will be held indoors, but please don't do any rain dances for that evening because we may ask guests to step outside at the beginning of the cocktail hour for the "room-flip". Additionally, during the cocktail hour and reception, there will be some games in the small grass area in front of the venue.

Are there any post-wedding events?

Answer

If you're still in town on Sunday, please feel free to join us at the Central BBQ on Summer Ave. to celebrate Greg's birthday with a Memphis staple! We will be in a private room from 11:00-2:00pm. You can come and go as you please and enjoy some BBQ on us!

What's the phone policy?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony, to allow our photographers to have the best "shot" at getting the best shots! (And to avoid any phones going off during the ceremony - How EMBARRASSING would that be for you) However, you can take pics and videos during the cocktail hour and reception. Following the wedding, we will make sure to share all of the professional photos!

Can I make posts on social media during the reception/after the ceremony?

Answer

Sure! However, if you post a picture you took with your phone during the ceremony we will see it and know you had your phone out and that would not be cool. For those cocktail hour and reception pics though (and for anything you may post prior to the wedding), please use the hashtag #AtwoodsAtLast

How will I know if there's any updated information and/or changes to the wedding?

Answer

If something happens that causes a drastic change to the wedding (ex. postponed), this website will be updated and you will receive an email.

What if I have a question the week-of, the day before, or the day-of the wedding?

Answer
