Peltzer is a fun, busy, family friendly winery. They have several food trucks throughout the weekend. They usually have live music and some weekends have events going on. The Silo bar at the front has really good Sangria!
Ponte is a great option for food. Dining is outside and you truly get the feel of the vineyards. Reservations are recommended but can usually get them the day of!. I love the tasting room (cute giftshop!) It is also a beautiful place to walk around and take pictures.
We (and everyone else!) LOVE Altisima Winery! They are newish and I think they have the best view in wine country. Their food is delicious, the wine is wonderful and the sangria is amazing! It's a really pretty, chill place to hang out. They usually have music on the weekends (and some holiday weekdays). I would HIGHLY recommend going as early as you can as it gets very busy. If you get there earlier enough, put your name in to get one of the couches with heaters. You can order food, wine and hang out for hours. It is wonderful! They also have a separate tasting room if the main winery is too busy.
Wilson Creek is where the party is! If you are wanting a busier, fun winery, this is the place! They are famous for their Almond Champagne and their Frose. Mario Lopez is frequently here to host a live party! It is also a popular place for bachelorette/ bachelor party buses. If you are not into the crowd, you can take your drink/bottle and sit under the trees. They have a lot of areas to get away.
Miramonte is the place to go if you want a busy, popular, social scene. They are incredibly busy and parking is nonexistant. I would strongly recommend taking an Uber! They have a lot of party buses dropping off so they will not let you in unless you are in an Uber and the walk from the road is STEEP! The winery/restaurant/bar is beautiful and the views are gorgeous if you do go!
GORGEOUS! This winery is picturesque! It is Ponte's sister winery! It is new and looks a little stark on from the outside but the patio is beautiful, shaded and comfortable. Reservations are not required but recommended. This is different from most wineries in Temecula, more high end. They seat you and you have a server, unless you are going to the tasting room, you check-in regardless. They offer a limited menu (charcuterie boards), a pairing room and a tour of the make-your-own wine lab. They also have a pool, lounge area and cabanas for day rental. Truly a gem!
If you are looking for a good winery on the South End of Temecula, Leoness is a great option! Gorgeous property and plenty of places to take your wine and explore. They have a fantastic restaurant and have music on some weekends. They also have a overflow patio below to enjoy your wine
This restaurant is in Old Town Temecula (South end) The Thai pizza is SO delicious! The decor is amazing. There is also a cute chocolate/dessert shop attached to it that is a treat! You can park next to the building in the free public parking building (parking can be difficult in Old Town!). They did take reservations and then they stopped, so I would call ahead just in case!
Super fun, delicious restaurant for breakfast or lunch in Old Town. Mostly organic, this restaurant specializes farm to table. They also have an amazing coffee/juice bar if you are looking for something quick to grab and go.
Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Temecula! Cute, funky decor and delicious drinks! They also have a wonderful selection of loose leaf teas. There are multiple locations in Temecula.
Delicious Cuban food and amazing coffees (Sal Latte is heaven!). This is a counter-serve restaurant with lots of seating and food we crave! It can get busy so if you go on the weekend, it's best to go during the off hours if possible.
