When We Met: 2011 Where: Roosevelt University -- roomies! Facts: Lives in San Diego, proud cat-mom, expert photographer, and successful entrepreneur Favorite Memory: Kami and I were roommates for a few years in college and post-graduation. During junior year, I got extremely sick with the flu the week of my 21st birthday and couldn't hardly get out of bed. Kami decided to pick up cupcakes, balloons, alcohol (because, of course), and made a banner out of printer paper that said "Happy Birthday, Meredith." She and our roommates decorated our living room with balloons, streamers, and made hot chocolate with whipped cream-flavored vodka. I will forever be grateful to have such an amazing friend in my life. She truly is the best!

When We Met: 2005 Where: House Party Facts: Groom's first roommate in college & several years thereafter, loves Jack Daniels, real name is "Kevin," but also goes by "Bartholomeu Luxembourg," and is actually a citizen of Canada (Ay!), taught the Bride to play poker and was salty when she beat him, diehard Hawkeye, Bears, and Cubs fan Favorite Memory: Too many to count, but celebrating the Cubs World Series win or playing flag football in full make-up the morning after Halloween! In 2016, when the Cubs won the World Series, I was happy to spend the entire night with my group of friends as we celebrated. The Cubs went on to win, and Alex and I chanted in the street while drinking champagne and singing "Go Cubs Go," with thousands of people.
