Music has always been very important to us. The first time we performed together in high school, we played Journey's "Faithfully." After graduating high school, we started dating and soon went to different colleges. The song's lyric, "sending all my love along the wire," suddenly had new meaning as the majority of the first four years of our relationship happened over the phone. The symbol of the telephone pole has repeated itself in gifts and artwork throughout our relationship, which is why we chose to use it to represent our wedding.
When Braeden was young, while eating dinner with his family at a Moe's, he suggested Moe's was so good that he would want it catered at his wedding. When his parents suggested that his future bride may not approve, he replied, "the right woman will."
