Plover and Michael met freshman year at Kings College where they were both in ROTC and later pledged the same fraternity and were in the same major. Shenanigans ensued. Work brought Plover to Kansas a few years ago and Meredith and Michael were the first visitors to greet his first born child.
Jennie Simons

One of Meredith’s best friends for over 10 years. They met at KU after Kate invited her to one of Jennies parties. It was an instant friendship that has only grown stronger through the years. Jennie has always been there (with a bottle of excellent wine) for Meredith through life’s crazy ups and downs and visa versa.
Michael Nicely
Groomsman
Nicely was another pledge brother of Sigma Kappa Sigma and he, Michael, and Plover would go to dinner from the dorms almost every night after they were in the fraternity. Shenanigans also ensued. It’s a shame there can only be one Best Man as Nicely checks all the boxes also.
Kate Bendfeldt

One of Meredith’s best friends for over 10 years. They originally met in 2006 while they were sorority sisters in Alpha Gamma Delta at KU. Kate would always plan the best adventures that usually included good food and wine. You never know what country Kate will end up in next as she loves to travel and never stays in one place for long.
Beau Redin
Groomsman
Beau and Michael met at the University of Kansas where they studied and did homework with a bunch of other students. As they were both older non-traditional students who commuted from the same place, they started hanging out more outside of class. Beau is an amazing story teller and is the only man Michael can think of that has seen him do karaoke.
