We met as traveling nurses in Lima, Ohio, both chasing new experiences, new places, and unknowingly… each other. What started as a simple connection quickly turned into something neither of us expected. Between long shifts, new routines, and a shared sense of adventure, we found ourselves drawn together in a way that just felt easy. When my next assignment took me to Cincinnati, we made the choice to keep going—together. What could have been the end of our story was really just the beginning. Through distance that wasn’t so distant and a growing relationship, we built something strong, steady, and full of love. Not long after, we took on another big challenge side by side—graduate school. Between studying, stressful exams, and busy schedules, we somehow made some of our best memories. We laughed a lot, supported each other through it all, and grew not only as individuals, but as partners. From Lima to Cincinnati, from long shifts to late-night study sessions, every step led us here. And now, we get to spend forever continuing the adventure we started together.
