We're Getting Married!

We met through a mutual friend in college (shout out to our matchmaker and bridesmaid, Fabiana!) and bonded over music and comic book movies. About a year later, we realized there was something more to our friendship. One double-date orchestrated by our matchmaker, several solo dates, and lots of late-night rooftop conversations later, on October 10th, 2014, we made it official.

For Thanksgiving, we were hosting both of our families for the first time in our apartment in New Haven. Our sisters and our now-officiant, Abby, who was visiting "suggested" we take fall photos at a nearby park. There, in the freezing wind and soft sunlight of golden hour, in the midst of a photoshoot, it finally happened! Both of our parents had been hiding behind the trees and ran out to congratulate us. Back in our apartment, engagement decorations and champagne were waiting, for an intimate celebration with our families. Five years in the making and so, so worth it.
