Explore Seattle

We hope you have the chance to spend some time in the city we love. Since all of you have been to Seattle at least once, we're avoiding the obvious attractions. That being said, it is always worth a visit to Pike Place Market! If you'd like additional recommendations, we're happy to help.

Ballard (Hiram M. Chittenden) Locks

3015 Northwest 54th Street, Seattle, WA 98107
, (206) 783-7059

One of our go-to spots on Sunday evenings to walk Parker and see if we can spot blue herons and seals.

Seattle Art Museum

1300 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101
, (206) 654-3100

A staple worth spending a few hours at. And as a bonus, the Monet exhibit is in town. Our favorite chocolate shop is also across the street (Frans) and Pike Place Market is nearby.

Lunch and Ice Cream on Capitol Hill

714 E Pike St, Seattle, WA 98122

There are SO many ice cream shops on Capitol Hill. Some of our favs: Salt & Straw, Frankie & Jo's, Sweet Alchemy, and Molly Moons. Pair it with the best ramen shop, Ramen Danbo OR Taku Seattle (Top Chef Portland finalist, Chef Shota's spot), and you have a complete meal!

Bainbridge Island Ferry

Seattle Ferry Terminal, Seattle, WA 98104

Hop on an iconic Seattle ferry and wander around Bainbridge Island.

Snoqualmie Falls

6501 Railroad Ave SE, Snoqualmie, WA 98065

Only a ~40 drive from downtown Seattle, view Snoqualmie Falls and grab some food at Salish Lodge (their brunch and dinners are delicious). Worth the trip if you're a Twin Peaks fan.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery

14111 Northeast 145th Street, Woodinville, WA 98072
, (425) 488-1133

About a 30-minute drive from downtown Seattle, Woodinville boasts over 130 wineries. If you go, Chateau Ste. Michelle is a must-see for their beautiful grounds and delicious wines.

Fremont Brewing's Urban Beer Garden

1050 North 34th Street, Seattle, WA 98103
, (206) 420-2407

Get your vitamin D and beer fix in by hanging out at Fremont Brewery's outdoor beer garden. Don't worry, if it rains, there's indoor seating too.
