We both grew up in Lake Forest Park, WA, but didn't cross paths until freshman year of high school. Aaron would occasionally call Meme's house phone to say hi, and we had a couple of classes together (10th grade Honors English and 12th grade Gourmet Foods). After graduation, we went our separate ways and lost touch. Fast forward to late summer of 2012, Aaron messaged Meme to say hi out of the blue. We reconnected in person over dinner at Revel and have been together ever since. Other facts about us: 1) We are extremely low-key in our day-to-day lives but we both love adventure and international travel. We've walked the labyrinth in Fez, fed elephants in Chiang Mai, drifted down Xochimilco in Mexico City, visited hidden caves around the Algarve, and ate tacos on the beach in Cabo. 2) We both shared a childhood friend in elementary school who lived less than half a block away from Meme's house and somehow we never hung out all together. 3) Aaron is an avid fan of football and started a Fantasy Football league, which he introduced to Meme. The second year she played, she constantly complained that her team wasn't any good, and yet she wound up winning the top prize of $900.
