Black tie preferred. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns encouraged. For men, if you opt not to wear a tuxedo, a black suit with a formal tie is requested. For women, ankle- or floor-length dresses in any color are most appropriate for the occasion. Please note that portions of the evening will take place outdoors, weather permitting.

We'll be hosting a casual Welcome Reception on Friday, May 15, 2026, for anyone who's in town early. If your travel plans allow, we'd love to see you for an hour of relaxed drinks and late-night bites by the fire. If you plan to arrive on the day of the wedding, Saturday, May 16, please plan to reach the resort by 4:30 pm to enjoy a welcome glass of champagne and settle in before the ceremony.
While we would love to celebrate with everyone, your invitation will indicate if a guest or a plus-one has been included.
We love your little ones; however, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. The only exceptions are our flower girl and a few family children noted on specific invitations.
In the event of rain, you will be updated regarding any location changes at the resort for outdoor portions of the weekend. Whatever the weather, the celebration goes on!
If you'd like to get familiar with Bedford Springs Resort in advance of the wedding, there are indoor and outdoor maps available on the hotel's website, under the "Overview" and "Resort Map" sections. All wedding events will take place on-site, with some taking place outdoors. Additionally, signage and staff will be available throughout the weekend to guide you. Don't worry, we'll make sure you find your way to us!
In addition to the room block at Bedford Springs Resort, you are welcome to book independently at the Fairfield Inn & Suites or the Hampton Inn in Bedford, Pennsylvania, which are nearby.
No need. All events will take place on the resort property, just a short walk apart. If you opt to stay off-property, please note that guests will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the resort, as all wedding events take place on-site.
