Attempt one of the most renowned public golf courses in the world. With over 72 holes, including Bethpage Black, this site is a golfer's paradise. The state park also includes areas for hikes, picnics, tennis, and horseback riding.

7th Street Local Shops
We invite you to visit some of Laura & Jim's favorite lunch places when they spend time at Laura's parents' house in Garden City. For lunch salads and wraps, we recommend Garden City Bistro. For pub food & drinks, we recommend Leo's Tavern.
Farmingdale Bars and Restaurants
Located just south of our reception venue, Farmingdale provides a small town Long Island experience with lively nightlife. We recommend Croxley's Ale House and The Meetball Place.
Cradle of Aviation Museum
At this museum, you can learn all about the history of aerospace and about many of the historic flights that took place on Long Island. Located on Museum Row, it is also close to the Long Island Children's Museum where young museum-goers can experience interactive exhibits with an outdoor play area.
Jones Beach
As one of New York's most iconic beaches, Jones Beach offers a fun-filled day for the family. Beach bums can spend their day in the sand and dip their toes in the Atlantic Ocean while others can enjoy the numerous restaurants, bars, and shops on the historic Jones Beach Boardwalk.
Sagamore Hill National Historic Site
While it is a bit longer of a drive from the hotels and wedding reception venue, this historic site served as Theodore Roosevelt's summer home on Long Island and is a beautiful landmark. Feel free to learn some New York history and take some beautiful pictures during the day. You can book a tour of the home or enjoy the beautiful grounds by car or foot.
