Cocktail attire is requested. Ladies should wear either short or long dresses. For a summer wedding with cocktail attire, opt for light and airy fabrics such as chiffon, linen, or organza. A floral maxi dress, a pastel midi or knee-length dress, as well as a jumpsuit are all great options. Men should wear suits with semiformal footwear. Jeans, sneakers and casual attire should be avoided.
The ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m. Laura tends to be very punctual so please try your best to be on time!
Unfortunately, we can only provide transportation for the Bridal Party and immediate families from the hotel to the ceremony. Please plan on taking your own car, catching a ride, or ubering to the ceremony. If you feel as if you have no way of getting to the ceremony at the church, please reach out to wheelerwedding729@gmail.com and we will make sure you get a ride with someone. We want all of our friends to be there to witness our marriage, so it is of the utmost importance to us that everyone can be there and we would love to help you.
Coach buses will be provided for all wedding guests staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Melville to the Heritage Club at Bethpage beginning at 6:15 p.m.. Cocktail hour will start at 7 p.m.
There is a parking lot at St. Anne's and a parking lot at the Heritage Club. Valet will be provided for the reception.
Travel from St. Anne's Church to the Hilton Garden Inn in Melville will take around 30 minutes. Guests can choose to check into the hotel during this time or enjoy a pre-wedding cocktail at the hotel bar. Guests should feel free to wear more snappy casual attire to the church, return to the hotel, and then change into cocktail attire to wait for the coach buses.
Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be provided throughout the cocktail hour and reception. If you have an extreme allergy that Jim, Laura, or their families are not aware of, please let one of us know so we can accommodate you on our special day. We want everyone to enjoy all the delicious options the Heritage Club at Bethpage has to offer.
Coach buses will be running from the venue to the Hilton Garden Inn in Melville all night long. We are not able to provide direct service to any of the other hotels. We want everyone to party responsibly so we urge guests to take the coach buses or to uber if they feel more comfortable doing so.
