We are a Tinder success story! We were each others’ first and last Tinder dates, and met at Cafe Intermezzo where we had breakfast for dinner and talked the night away. When we realized our mutual love for our dogs, Jack Daniels, Braves baseball, and Georgia football, we knew we were on to something.

Mel started her Master's program at Georgia Tech, and Julia was working in Sandy Springs, so we decided to move in the middle - Smyrna. Okay... the fact that the Braves stadium was a mile down the road was just the cherry on top! We walked to roughly 25 home games each season from our adorable Smyrna townhome.

The dogs started to get a little chunky with such a small townhouse backyard, so we decided that we needed an upgrade. However, we couldn't get too far away from the Braves! We moved a couple miles down the road into our beautiful new home.

We took a vacation to Ireland, Mel's dream vacation! At an attempt to go see the Cliffs of Mohr, we accidentally got on the wrong boat that took us to the quaint island of Inisheer. Making the best of our mistake, we decided to hike up the island to a small abandoned castle. It was so serene, and the views were indescribable (pictured above)! That's where Julia popped the question. Mel proceeded to tell everyone on the island of our engagement, starting with the castle kitty.

We have had quite the journey, and we cannot be more excited to share our special day with family and friends! Our wedding will be at The Engine Room in Monroe, GA. The space was built in 1895 to house machinery for the Monroe Cotton Mills. The building has been beautifully restored and is now a gorgeous industrial space with so much character. Come party with us!
