Natalie Clark

Matron of Honor

There's few people in this world I admire as much as I admire Natalie. Being my older sister, Natalie has always been my greatest fountain of advice, my crafting pal, my Gilmore Girl, and my constant friend. I've hoped since I was little that I could have Natalie be my MOH--I can't imagine not having her right next to me as I say "I do"!

Kevin Hintz

Best Man

Despite being my younger brother, a lot of my relationship with Mel is actually a result of me looking up to and learning from Kevin's relationship with his wife, Hadley. It has been such a blessing to grow up with Kevin and I'm so excited to have Kevin stand with me on the biggest day of my life.

Allison LLanso

Bridesmaid

Allie is my cousin, but she's really been more like a second sister to me and Natalie. Fun fact about Allie, is that she is also marrying an Alex June 2019! I feel blessed to have had Allie's support and presence at all of life's big moments, and these two weddings coming up are for sure going to top the list!

Andrew Hintz

Best Man

Despite being six years younger, Andrew, my brother, and I have shared a lot of common interests that has brought us close together. Some of my fondest memories in life have had Andrew right there next to me, including Minnesota United's first game in MLS, exploring ancient Roman ruins in Spain, and just watching movies on the couch. I'm excited to add my wedding day to the list of memories that Andrew is part of.

Juliann Perala

Bridesmaid

Juliann and I went to college together, but actually didn't become friends until after graduation when we and our cats became roommates! Little did I know that I had found a true gem of a person to share an apartment and life with. Juliann quickly became a very close friend, the best roommate I could have ever asked for, and one of my very favorite answered prayers.

Brennan Clark

Groomsman

Brennan is Melissa's younger brother and I was so excited to have an almost instant connection with him. In fact, Brennan and I actually both root for the same soccer team in England (Come on you Spurs!). Even if we had met in some other circumstance, I'm sure Brennan and I would have been friends all the same. I'm glad Brennan is able to stand with his sister on her big day, but I'm also excited to have him by my side.

Erin Englehardt

Bridesmaid

Erin is all around a fantastically loving, caring, giving soul. I learn so much from her about how to love others, and walk alongside people through life's tough moments--something she's showed to me time and time again. We've had many fun adventures both at St. Olaf where we met, and post grad life living in Minneapolis. I admire this girl inside and out, and am so excited to have her on the sidelines as I marry Alex!

Christian Svennes

Groomsman

Christian and I met in college when he decided to join the Bethel track team. Little did I know that it was the start of one of my strongest friendships. Christian has always been someone that I have felt like I could unwind with. Now, Christian has become one of Melissa and my close friends as a couple. Having Christian be one of my groomsman was an easy decision, as his support means the world!

Jenassa Sanford

Bridesmaid

Jenassa is one of the main reasons I survived nursing school. Since the beginning of our journey to become nurses, Jenassa quickly became one of my very best friends at St. Olaf. Through many late night study sessions, being RAs together, and finally becoming RNs and starting our first hospital jobs, Jenassa has been an amazing, caring and dependable friend. She's actually getting married a few weeks after me, and I'm so excited to embark on this next phase of life with her!

Brent Nelson

Groomsman

Brent and I were good friends in college, but it was after I graduated that my friendship with Brent really seemed to deepen. While looking for a place to live, Brent welcomed me into his group of friends who had already found a house together. That group ended up being my best friends for an important part of my life. I'm glad to have friends like Brent and I'm excited to have him with me at on my wedding day.

Katie Moynihan

Bridesmaid

Katie is such a bright ray of sunshine in my life. She and I went through nursing school together. She has always been there for me through all of life's ups and downs, and I feel lucky I have her as one of my best friends. She is one of the most compassionate people I know, leading her to be an incredible friend and nurse. I'm so excited to have her a part of my wedding day!

Justin Ivory

Groomsman

I met "Ives" on my first day of college and immediately saw someone that I could look up to. Since then we have spent countless hours running together, discussing philosophy, or trying to solve each of the world's problems. I even think some of our ideas really would make the world a better place (although they usually were widely idealistic and completely impractical). I'm glad to have Ives join me on such as big day.

Maddie Hartwig

Bridesmaid

Mads has been a friend ever since middle school when we met through our commitment class program at church. Through being leaders of that same class at church together, to trips to Michigan for fall break visits in college, Mads has become one of my very favorite adventure buddies. She's always been my go to-gal to support me through my faith journey. I don't know what I'd do without her!

Tom Ritter

Groomsman

No offense to my other roommates, but Tom is probably the best roommate I ever had. We watched medical shows, played video games, watched football, and ate out (a lot). Perhaps even more meaningful, Tom was one of the first people that met Melissa and became one of Melissa and my first mutual friends. It’s special to me to have a friend by my side who saw the birth and growth of my relationship with Melissa.

Michael Pearce

Bridesman

Michael is such an amazing friend of mine. He was my very first friend I made when I transferred to St. Olaf, and he's continued to be a supporting and close friend ever since. Although he lives in Seattle now, I'm honored that he agreed to make the trip to be a part of my wedding day!

Mollie Face

Groomswoman

Mollie is one of the most thoughtful, out-going, and adventurous people I have ever met. We first met in cross country at Bethel and she has since become my favorite running buddy. We've had countless hour plus runs over the years that have been filled with some of the best conversations. It just takes one chat with Mollie to feel filled to the brim. I'm thankful for Mollie!

Hadley Hintz

Melissa's Something Blue

Hadley will be my sister in law come November 16th, and I could not feel more grateful to be gaining such a beautiful sister, inside and out! Having Hadley be a special part of our day was something Alex and I knew from beginning, as she is a very special friend to both of us. I'm so excited to have Hadley be my "something blue!"

Blake & Finley Kluge

Ring Bearers

Blake and Finley are my cousin, Jaimie's two boys. However, they are so much more than just cousins to Melissa and I. We have enjoyed numerous play dates with them and the love we feel for these two boys is so incredibly great. It was a no brainer for us to ask Blake and Finley to be part of such a special occasion, as they are a significant part of both of our lives. While Blake has an impressive ring bearer resume, we're excited for Blake to show Finley the ropes!
