Question

Do we have to stay at the Hotel Kitzhof?Do we have to stay at the Hotel Kitzhof?

Answer

No silly, not at all. Kitzbühel offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit different preferences and budgets. Since it’s not peak season (as Kitzbühel is more of a winter sports destination), you'll find availability. Our only suggestion is to use Google Maps to check the distance from your accommodation of choice to the Hotel Kitzhof or The Londoner, which is considered the unofficial center of Kitzbühel. This will help you get a better idea of how far it is to walk, which we highly recommend over a drive.

Question

What are the train stations? What are the train stations?

Answer

Yes, there are three train stations serving Kitzbühel: Hahnenkamm Train Station – This station is located closer to the Hahnenkamm mountain, making it a great choice for those heading directly to the ski slopes or enjoying the mountain activities. It’s just a short distance from the town center and ideal for visitors looking to explore the area around the Hahnenkamm. Super Convenient! Kitzbühel Hauptbahnhof (Main Station) – The primary train station, located just outside the town center. It offers excellent connections to major cities like Munich, Innsbruck, and Salzburg, as well as local bus and taxi options to get to your accommodation or wedding events. Kitzbühel Alpsbahn Station – A smaller station located to the west of Kitzbühel, closer to certain resorts and ski areas. It’s useful for those traveling from the Tyrol region or arriving from the western part of Austria.
