Shawn & I met while I was working at Stoney's. He came in & was my only customer. So I had to talk to him. lol Usually I had to go home after work to get my daughter. But she was with a friend so I had a free night. He bought me a drink after work. When he left I felt I needed to get to know him better. I tracked his number down. Unfortunately as luck may have it Shawn was not on the market. Almost 2 months went by before I saw him again. He came in to see if I wanted to go out on a date. I said sure.... 2 years later on October 6th we went to Jordans football game. All 3 younger kids fell asleep on the way home. I thought the kids would go to bed....they were in on the plan. Shawn soon got down on 1 knee & asked me to be his wife. After tears & some whooting & hollering... I said Yes! Melissa is excited to have a very large extended family & 3 more children. While Shawn gains another daughter & a much smaller extended family. We look forward to the next chapter in our story!
