Many years back Tony & Melissa frequented the same pub trivia at Cigars & Stripes in Berwyn, Illinois. They sat across the bar from each other yelling obscenities and using trivia bonus cards to screw each other out of points. They both assumed the partners on their trivia teams were a significant other and alas nothing beyond the beer fueled insults and dirty looks ever came of it. Cut to 2021. The COVID pandemic was long and lonely. Bars were finally opening back up. A beacon of hope revealed itself in the form of a new pub trivia location in Willowbrook. It just so happened Tony and Melissa started attending this new trivia spot. Finally after a few passing hellos and nods of recognition, Melissa decided to engage Tony in a friendly conversation in the parking lot. She not-so-subtly revealed her single status and within minutes Tony was asking for her digits. One week later they were having their first date (at another bar trivia of course!) in the town they would end up buying their first home together- Brookfield, Illinois. And they lived happily ever after...with their wonderful dog, Noob.
