For our wedding, we invite you to embrace the season's elegance by dressing in your most refined cool winter colors. Picture yourself in the cooler end of the color spectrum that evokes the crisp beauty of winter. Men: Suits and tuxes are both welcome. Women: Elegant cocktail dresses or evening gowns. We can’t wait to see you shine!
I understand—you've binge-watched every episode of Narcos: Mexico and now you're feeling a bit wary about traveling to Mexico City (CDMX). As someone who was born and partially raised in Mexico City, I can confidently assure you that the city is currently at its safest and most tourist-friendly state ever. We’ve carefully curated this entire experience, from hotels and restaurants to our venue, ensuring that you stay in the trendiest, most tourist-friendly, and safest parts of the city. That being said, please exercise good judgment! Avoid wearing expensive items like a Rolex or carrying your MacBook Air in public. If traveling from an AirBnB, only accept rides from Ubers with at least 1,000 trips under their belt, use credit cards for payments as much as possible, and steer clear of public transportation or local taxis. If staying at a hotel, it is most convenient to ask your hotel front desk to call you a car to your destination. Remember, you’re a tourist here, not a local. A note on Airport Transportation: We are collaborating with our fantastic wedding planners, Karla and Flor, to arrange a private car service for those who prefer this option. This service will transport you from Benito Juárez Airport to your hotel or Airbnb for your convenience and comfort. Contact Ryan or I directly for more information about this. If you choose to use Uber, always make sure the driver has sufficient experience, and you’ll be good to go! We are immensely grateful that you are making this trip. This day is incredibly special to us, as we gather all the people we love under one roof. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you have received an invitation, please know that we love you and your presence means the world to us. - Melissa & Ryan
