We're getting married!

We first met in high-school back in 2011 after Melissa messaged Mitch on Myspace asking "hey, do I know you?" (she did), and began dating shortly after. It was "love at first DM". 11+ years of memories later, we've studied at Binghamton University together, began our careers (nursing and data-science) in Stamford, CT and introduced 2 loving/crazy cats to our family, Yoshie and Binx. We've traveled to Greece and plan on traveling as much as we possibly can in the future. We want to spend the rest of our lives being the best cat parents around, binge watching HGTV/Food Network, traveling all over the world, yelling at the Mets, and laughing so much it hurts.

We traveled to Colorado to explore Denver and the Rockies in September of 2020. The forecast was warm and sunny - perfect hiking weather. After 3 days of consistent 90 degree weather, the day of our hike arrived and we woke up to 5 inches of snow! We ran to a local shop and rented snow boots, spikes and poles and made our way to Dream Lake at Rocky Mountain National Park. When we reached the top of the mountain there was a heavy fog and we were the only ones there. Mitch got down on one knee but before he could say anything Melissa started ugly-crying, they both laughed and the rest is history. Five minutes after Mitch proposed the heavy fog cleared and we were able to see a gorgeous reflective lake surrounded by snow covered mountains.
