Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, weather permitting.
In most years, Austin averages a daily maximum temperature for October that's between 79 and 84 degrees Fahrenheit (26 to 29 degrees Celsius). The minimum temperature usually falls between 59 and 63 °F (15 to 17 °C). I would plan to bring a light jacket or sweater for the Ceremony and Welcome event as the temperatures will drop during the evening. The ceremony, reception and welcome event will be outdoors.
Please arrive by 4:30pm. The ceremony will begin at 5pm.
Yes for those that RSVP'ed "yes" to needing transportation. Two charter buses will be provided for the day of the ceremony. Pickup location will be in Downtown Austin and will bring you to the event. We will begin loading the bus at 3:00pm and leaving for the venue at 3:25pm. Additional details will be provided as the date gets closer. Leaving the venue, we will be dropping off at one of the hotels in North Austin and the final drop in Downtown Austin. There is also plenty of parking for those driving in addition to Uber and Lyft which services the venue. Masks will be required on the buses.
The ceremony and reception are taking place at the same venue therefore no need to change locations. 4:30pm Guest Arrival 5:00pm Ceremony 5:30-6:30pm Cocktail Hour in the garden 6:45pm Plated dinner service, cake cutting, speeches 8:00-10:30pm Live band & dancing

Besides the hotel blocks in our travel section, we would also recommend: South Congress - Nice hotels and Airbnb options. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Travis Heights - Close to Rainey street bar district, Zilker Park. East Austin - Eclectic area of town, hipster bars, art and bands. Northwest/The Domain Area - Closer to the Wedding Venue. Good shopping, food, and entertainment in the Domain.
Yes! F1 races are happening the same weekend as the wedding therefore suggest you book travel and accommodations early as the event brings thousands of people to Austin each year. Tickets are still available for those that want to stay and experience the races on Sunday!
