Joy Bakery
Did you know? Mel is an absolute coffee-addict and has a few favourite spots in town. Joy bakery hands-down makes THE best lattees and chocolate chip cookies ever!
Willie's
If you're around for a while be sure to make a visit down to one of the beaches. Mel's favourite burger joint is Willies - definitely get the willie-burg and onion chips - followed by Hewitts ice-cream and a walk on the pier. You won't be disappointed... unless a seagle shits on you - then... sorry!
211 Main
One of our favourite local places in the summer is the 211 Main patio! Anything on the menu is sure to please, and the vibe of Port Dover in the background is a perfect summer evening date.
Ride the Bine
One of the best features of our area are all the local wineries/breweries! If you have the time check out the local hot-spots. Ride the Bine offers tours roughly 5hours each! Check out the site and book some time to drink-up!
Turkey Point Beach
Turkey Point beach is about 20 minutes from where Mel and Jer live and its a lively beach town, great for cottage rentals and has a bit of a night life and some local ice cream and restaurants in the area. If you're up for a beach day - Turkey Point is a nice beach, Port Dover is also a great touristy beach in the summertime.
White Horse Bowling
Take the KIDS! More than just bowling this is one of Jayce's favourite stops, they have an indoor playground, bowling alleys and glow-in-the-dark mini-putt as well as arcade games, oh... and a liqour license for the parents' sanity. You're welcome.
Ramblin' Road Brewery Farm
Not far from Mel and Jers house, this brewery has a cool photo opp with a Giant Canadian flag and also walk through their hops and the food isn't all that bad either ;)
