Melissa and Jadon met at a brunch that Melissa’s cousin and bridesmaid Ashley was having. This was the first time the couple ever met. As the day went on, the two started to realize there was something special there. Jadon asked Melissa for her number and asked her to go ice skating in Bryant Park later the next month. They started dating immediately after that.

Jadon took Melissa into Manhattan to have lunch at Veselka where they had their first date and a few dates after that. He then took her to a small park across the street where flowers were waiting on the park bench where Melissa and Jadon sat and talked on their first date. Jadon got down on one knee in front of that bench and asked Melissa to marry him. It was perfect.
