Melissa was not fond of Kaila when she was brought home from the hospital after living the only child life for six years, but soon realized Kaila wasn't going anywhere and they quickly became best friends. From playing 21 in the backyard to now enjoying a good bottle of wine together the sisters are a dynamic duo. Melissa often leans to Kaila's knowledge of fashion and trends when buying a new pair of sneakers, while Kaila will often ask for advice with school work, emails and applications. Kaila keeps Melissa on her toes with her relaxed and adventurous personality while Melissa keeps Kaila balanced with her logical and organized personality. Melissa is honoured to have Kaila stand next to her on her special day.

Maddie and Melissa were instantly best friends when they met in kindergarten. They were often getting told to quiet down during playtime when they were having too much fun. They were rarely allowed to sit together during carpet time. Maddie and Melissa have shared priceless memories over the years from countless sleepovers and Quinte mall trips to high school basketball seasons to visits at university. The two best friends are constantly texting about their favourite shows (anything reality TV) and any new good thriller or horror movie recommendations. Maddie always has the best movie recommendations. Melissa and Maddie have a friendship that has stood the test of time. Forever grateful for a friend she can always lean on, Melissa cannot imagine her special day with out her bestie by her side.

Introducing Cassvink77, Melshake's bridesmaid! Melissa and Cass's friendship begins way back at Cass's second birthday party. Mel and Cass always find themselves in some sort of adventure from camping trips, beach/pool days, rips around town in the jeep blasting good tunes, and a couple trips to the states celebrating natty champs. Growing up just a quick bike ride away summers were often spent at the Vinkle pool swimming and hanging out. There was never a shortage of sunscreen when with Cass. When these two are together, its always good times and non-stop laughter, maybe even laughing too hard someone throws up. Melissa cannot wait to have her bestie Cass by her side on her big day making more memories and of course sharing more laughs.

Meg is Jakes sister that Melissa quickly learned was one of his best friends. Melissa first met Meg when Jake invited her over for dinner with the family. With some pizza and I'm sure a couple of drinks, Melissa quickly learned Meg was not the typical scary older sister. In no time, Meg and Mel quickly realized that they had so much in common, including their love for Cottage Springs. Over the last six years, they have shared so many fun times from cottage weekends, county tours, and wine nights (ask Meg about that). An expert in all things wedding, Meg has assisted with her valuable advice and suggestions helping keep Melissa cool, calm, and collected in the wedding planning process. Sister in law? More like sister! Melissa cannot wait to celebrate this big day with her soon to be sister by her side.

Jason and Jake first met way back when they were kids attending public school together. Although they didn’t start hanging out until later in high school, it was like they had already been great friends their entire lives. Jake spent almost everyday at Jason’s house for an entire summer one year, to the point where Jake thought he might have to start paying rent to Barb. Jason and Jake have had many adventures over the years such as fishing, playing sports in high school, bonfires in Jay’s driveway, and being coworkers for a period of time to name a few. Whether he's showing off his best moves or making sure everyone feels included, don't let his high-energy personality fool you Jason is always there to listen to what you have to say and offer a helping hand. Jake couldn’t be happier to have Jason stand with him on the big day and get ready to see this guy rip up the dance floor!

Bryce is one of Jake’s groomsmen. They originally met in public school, but their friendship didn’t start until high school when Jake began hanging out with Bryce and his friends. Over the years these two have made a lot of unforgettable and sometimes hilarious memories together that will last a lifetime. Bryce and Jake have had some pretty fun adventure’s together over the years like snowmobile trips, fishing up at Bryce’s camp, hunting with each other, making syrup at all hours of the night at Bryce’s sugar shack and spending time at Jake’s cottage in the summer. Bryce is definitely the handy man in our friend group. If he’s not helping someone with renovations or odd jobs then he’s usually in the garage working on one of his many vintage sleds. He may seem quiet at first but once you get to know Bryce he will make you feel like you’ve known him your entire life. Jake couldn’t imagine anyone else he would want to stand with him on this special day.

Damien and Jake first met when Jake was in college. After being away for a few weeks, Jake came home one weekend and to his surprise saw a pick up truck in the driveway he’d never seen before. The next morning still wondering who in their right mind would buy a dodge and park it in the driveway, Jake found out who Damien was as Jake’s sister introduced him as her new boyfriend. Damien and Jake’s relationship has turned from friends to brothers. When Melissa and Jake first started dating Damien was the first person Jake told because he knew if the rest of the family found out it would be a game of 100 questions. Over the years these two have had lots of laughs and good times together like going to the Poccono’s for Damien’s bachelor party, snowmobiling up at the cottage, having some fun at rockfest, helping one another with house projects and occasionally enjoying one to many Busch lattes together. Damien is a class act and one of the nicest, easy to talk to guy you’ll ever meet. Jake couldn’t be happier to have Damien standing with him on the big day.
