Clearwater Lodge

To get to Clearwater Lodge, first you will need to get to Grand Marais, MN. Once in Grand Marais, you will need to get on the Gunflint Trail. Take the Gunflint Trail 26 miles (from the water tower) to Clearwater Road. Turn right on to Clearwater Road. Take Clearwater Road 4 miles to Clearwater Lodge.

Travel Note

📍Magill Cabin

Once at Clearwater Lodge, drive through the parking lot in between the lodge and the building with the old gas pump (it looks like you are driving through their property, but just keep going). Drive straight through the intersection of Boostrom way and follow the road to the Magill sign. It is approximately a mile to the cabin on South Clearwater road. Please drive extra carefully and slowly, this is a one way road and many people walk and use this road.
