COVID safety is an important matter that we take very seriously. COVID has the highest risk of spread among large gatherings of people indoors when people are unmasked, unvaccinated, and spend at least 15 minutes within 6 feet of each other. This is why we have many different layers of protections to help create a safe and fun atmosphere: 1) Outdoor reception - the reception will be held in a well-ventilated open air environment 2) Spacing between tables and chairs - tables that normally seat 10-12 people will now sit 6-8 3) Reduced maximum capacity - normal max capacity is 1200 people, COVID capacity is 600, and we are about 300 4) Mandatory face coverings - with the possible exception of the bride and groom, guests will be required to wear a face mask throughout the wedding celebration. It is okay to lower your mask briefly to eat/drink. Please only take mask-less photos in the designated areas. 5) Sanitizing Tunnel - there will be a sanitizing tunnel that we walk through to enter
6) COVID vaccines - We highly encourage everyone who can to get a COVID vaccine. The vaccine will not only provide protection to you and others but also has the potential to make travel and logistics significantly easier. Currently, 61% of guests are on track to be vaccinated by the time of the wedding, with this number expected to grow. 7) General hygiene - At every table there will be hand sanitizers available, silverware will be individually wrapped, bathrooms are cleaned every 15-20 minutes, and please refrain from gathering/waiting around inside bathroom areas 8) Self-monitoring for COVID symptoms - Please remain home and contact your doctor if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea
