Come surf with us or enjoy some morning beach time at a surf break called "Privates" located just north of Capitola. It's a friendly sand-bottom wave. Great for party waves! David's Bulletproof blended coffee will be available for those who attend.
Capitola Gathering - Saturday Hiking Session

Join us on a 4-mile hike through a beautiful redwood forest called the Monte Toyon Vista Loop. This hike has multiple stream crossings and is rated "moderate". Please join us for a fun beach day before the wedding at Capitola Beach from 12:30pm - Sunset. Food and drinks will provided. We'll play some fun games, surf, enjoy music and each others good company! Bring your favorite beach activity, towels and chairs. Kids are welcome! An earlier morning surf session will also be an option to those interested. The exact location on Capitola beach will be provided closer to the date.

The wedding ceremony will begin at 2:30pm. After the ceremony we will spend a few hours enjoying the rest of the day mingling and playing games in a meadow. The reception to follow will include appetizers, drinks and dinner with lots of dancing! In an effort to keep the wedding party size down, we kindly request an adults only celebration. Children are more than welcome to all the events prior. Let's keep the party going! Join us at the Brookdale Lodge for the afterparty where there will be billiards, dancing and some late night snacks. Want to know the best part? It's located at one of the most haunted hotels in the world... 👻 (Disclaimer: Under no circumstances will Melissa & David be held responsible for anyone scared to death, lost or petrified.) Beginning at 9:15pm, there will be a shuttle taking guests from the wedding venue to the after-party. The shuttle will be available to return guests to the venue at any time they choose. Those who desire are welcome to change into some fun festive attire ❤️
